First, I've heard that when kids are bullied, it makes them not be able to do as well on their work and when they bring home a lot of homework, it also makes them not do as well but when they are home-schooled then they are safe from bullies and they can do their school work at home any time.
Kids are also safer being home-schooled because it seems like kids at School are more likely to be killed and/or sexually assaulted by any bad teachers that are at the School plus some kids bring hidden weapons and such then kill other kids with them (although it has been taken care of at some schools as I've heard.) One more thing that makes School a dangerous place is school-bus crashes. Yes, I know it's a risk riding any vehicle but it's better when the kid dies with his/her parents in a crash since if they died in a school-bus then their parents would suffer severe depression from losing their kid. Back in February, I heard about this one school-bus crash and four of the students died since they didn't wear their seat-belts and it broke my heart when the reporter was saying their names and ages while having the photos of each student shown and having sad music playing in the background. That report was so depressing to me that it's been bugging me for a long time.
Anyway, good ways to home-school your kid is to have them watch at least one hour or less of something that teaches them stuff and then they can do math pages, read about history and such. and there are also some good video games for various systems (the PC and the Nintendo DS generally) made to teach them stuff. There are also some good sites online that teach kids stuff like Cosmeo and I just read on tesh.com that there are virtual schools online. Anyway, that's all for this rant. Seeya next time!
I give credit to Fox News since they reported some of these bad things that have happened in schools and I give credit to John Tesh and his site tesh.com for some of this info on School.

Maybe I should show this to her.
Although one part that you mentioned.. My school isn't classified as a bad school. Although some kids do bad things...
I just wish my school would burn down. >D

I think private schools are a lot better about that, because they have the money to hire good staff who care more for the students. But not everyone can afford to send their kids there. And the only problem with home schooling is that kids aren't around other kids as much. But I guess if they play sports or are in a group of some sort, they'll be fine.

School is really just a pain in the *** for me. I'm planning on starting volunteer work at the Wilmington and Western Railroad, and I won't be able to go any day except Saturday because of school. If it weren't for school, I could go every day.

I do agree, bullying is a problem. Now the teacher organizations are realizing who's fault it is: the teacher. Why? Because teachers had sayings among themselves such as "boys will be boys" or "girls are nicer." This is a serious error in thiking, and it will take some time to fix it.
Thanks for bringing up the issue, it's interesting really!
